Whether your frames need a simple adjustment for a better fit or a more involved repair, our experienced opticians handle it all in-house. We service frames purchased at Wilson Optical as well as frames from other providers. Stop in during office hours for a consultation and we'll get you seeing and looking your best again.

Ocular Disease Management

Dr. Wilson opened his practice with Wilson Optical in 1991, carrying forward a family legacy that began when his father Frank Wilson co-founded the company in 1957. Like every Wilson before him, he started in the lab — learning the craft from the ground up before earning his doctorate at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Beyond clinical excellence, Roger is deeply committed to his patients and community. Patients describe him as thorough, honest, and the kind of doctor who fits you in the same day when something is wrong.

NE Florida's Oldest Optical
After serving in World War II, brothers Frank and Ralph Wilson began optical careers producing lenses in a downtown Jacksonville lab. They became among the first opticians licensed by the State of Florida — and in 1957, launched Wilson & Wilson Opticians. Nearly seven decades later, Wilson Optical remains the oldest optical company in Northeast Florida and one of the oldest in the nation.
